2020 Team ER Miracle Mile Challenge.

On August 7, 1954 during the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, B.C., England’s Roger Bannister and Australian John Landy met for the first time in the one mile run at the newly constructed Empire Stadium.
Bannister won the race in a record time of 3:58.8. Landy’s second place finish in 3:59.6 marked the first time the four minute mile had been broken by two men in the same race. The race went down in history as The Miracle Mile.
Now it is your turn to create your own Miracle Mile!
The Rules:
  • Run or walk your own Miracle Mile.
  • *  Your mile can be performed on a track, trail, road, treadmill or anywhere else you like.
  • *  You may run or walk as many miles as you like this week. Submit your best overall mile.
  • *  Your mile can be completed as part of a longer run or walk or as an individual time trial.
  • *  Your mile must be completed as a continuous run or walk, No stopping your timing device and no auto pausing.
  • *  Submit your best mile time along with a picture of you preferably in your Team ER apparel to the Team ER Facebook page with the title: I Ran (Walked) My Own      Miracle Mile #TeamERMiracleMileChallenge.
  • Each Team ER member completing the challenge will receive 5 team points for completing the challenge and another 5 points for submitting a picture.
  • Every Team ER member that completes the challenge will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Team ER Mask and Carb Boom Energy Gel.
