The race is held at Mohican Lodge and Conference Building. The course is beautiful that consisted of single track, road, very technical areas with rocks roots and lots of mud and elevation and includes the stairs at the damn. This race is an out and back course. Easy packet pick up with simple directions. Plenty of parking for runners and families to cheer you on. All distances started at the same time. The course was well marked. It was a beautiful cloudy day with a touch of humidity in the air. Every runner received a soft t-shirt and finishing medal. I was a little slower this year but still was able to receive 3rd in my age group. This is one of my favorite races to do in the spring.
