I ran to the Clock Tower and Back 5K  this morning at Coventry High School. Parking at the school, of course was ample and so very convenient! The town of Portage Lakes is so very pretty! Race was well organized, and I very much enjoyed the course!
I had a lot of fun watching the little ones run their race as well!
I had a little trouble getting warmed up and race ready, due to being in my garage for the last two days trying to sell things, so I was pleasantly surprised to be awarded second place in my age group!

I completed the fun run with the boys. We had a great time! It is a well organized race. This race supports the Coventry Cross Country Team and the proceeds from this race will help send them to XC camp this summer and will buy them new shoes and spikes this fall.
I love the course – it has great views of Portage Lakes. It is dog and stroller friendly. They even have a fastest stroller and fastest dog category. The swag is great! You receive an awesome finisher’s medal and soft shirt with the clocktower.  There are plenty of post race snacks. Highly recommend this race! I look forward to it every year.
