Event #41 was the Dresden Melon Festival 10k. This was a very small race where they reused bibs, which was a first for me. It was a gun start with a chip finish, out and back course on a paved bike path. The race was the kick off for the Dresden Melon Festival that was filled with venders, a petting zoo with a Moo and a watermelon eating contest for the kid-os. It was very cute and I would do it again. I got 1st in a age group and got my first runner topped trophy!
