This grueling swim, mountain bike and trail run race held in Indiana included Team ER’s Ken Frankenberry. Ken’s time of 2:14:07 earned him second in his age group and 9th overall

This years race held on July 31st included two Team ER members. Mark Gorris and Chris Schmauder, who were both forced to withdraw in 2009 due to injuries, returned to slay this beast of a race. Erasing last years results and performing at the top of their games despite challenging weather Team ER is proud to announce the following results:

Mark Gorris – 4:36:48 – 13th age group/75th overall

Chris Schmauder – 5:38:40 – 90th age group/848 overall

Returning to Team ER, and showing us how much we missed her, Julie Healy smoked this years Twin Sizzler with a time of 1:19 earning her 2nd in her age group and 5th overall female.

Team ER’s Chrissy Bowser competed in the Thorn Time Trial. Her time of 58:44 earner her 1st place in the beginner female division.

Matt Geis once again traveled East to take on the Youngstown Triathlon. He posted a time of 1:05:56 earning him second place in his age group and 15th place overall.

This years event was held at Lake Milton on July 25th, 2010 and was well attended by Team ER. Our racers, cheered on by Team ER volunteer Chrissy Bowser, grabbed 3 podium spots, two age group awards and posted the following results:

Dave Micelli – Olympic Distance – 2:10:22 – 3rd overall

Julie Healy – Sprint Distance – 1:27:57 – 2nd overall female

Emily Johnson – Sprint Distance – 1:28:24 – 3rd overall female

Matt Geis – Sprint Distance – 1:26:28 – 1st age group/12th overall

Steve Bable – Sprint Distance – 1:24:01 – 1st age group/10th overall

This triathlon, which supports the fight against ovarian cancer, is held in Mason, OH and was attended by Team ER’s Dave Micelli. Dave placed 2nd overall with a time of 1:02
