Amy Stumpf
I live in Kent with my husband and 3 children ( ages 11, 9, and 4). I just went back to work this past year, alongside by 4 year old, working as a teacher at Tree City Preschool. I started running about 7 years ago with the initial goal of losing the baby weight. However once I fell in love with the sport, my goals slowly shifted to more serious ones.
I have trained the past 3 years for the Akron marathon, and plan to run again this fall. I finished 3rd in my division at the 2019 Akron full marathon. My hope for this year of running is to do more cross-training, to help me become a stronger runner overall. I am looking forward to participating in many of the local upcoming races, but especially to the Burning River 4-person relay and Akron full marathon. Run happy!
