I made a trail friend and we pushed hard the final few miles for a negative split earning me a 2nd place age group!
This was the final race in the Dirty Trail Series and I was so excited to place 1st in my age group! Very nice plaque, raffle prizes, and lunch for all series participants!
I really enjoyed the this series. The races were amazing, the RDs were amazing, and I met so many wonderful people! I highly recommend!

Race Recap By Lynett McClay:

It was a beautiful day to play in the woods. Perfect weather, cool start and plenty of sunshine. This course had 1 big hill going and and 1 steep hill going down with rolling hills in between. Very little mud, no streams or water crossings. Some rocks and roots but not very technical. Packet pickup was organized and indoor. Easy directions and plenty of parking. Two stocked aid stations. Run 2 loops for 15k. Choice of swag and medals for all participants. Age group awards and top 3 overall.
