Flirt with Dirt Half Marathon 2026
Well marked & challenging (mostly) trail race. Lots of rocks, roots, water crossings, & elevation for a challenging loop course. Choose your distance – 1 loop or 2.
10K starts early morning & half marathon mid morning to keep the trail traffic thin.
Nice swag – Short sleeve cotton tee and matching finishers medal, hot vegetable soup lunch, & overall / age group awards.
Today was not my day! I started off feeling strong but wilted at the halfway point and just couldn’t get it together. I have been messing with my diet and I think it was a fuel issue (not enough carbs). Every race is different and a learning experience. Forward is progress!

Flirt with Dirt 10k! Had a good race but didn’t have any friends to take pics so I did a selfie in the car. The course was great except for the mile trek up a paved road. I was 4th in my age group. I finished in 1:05:53. Not too bad considering this was only my second time on the trails since September. I will do this race again!
