Parking was easy. You could either park on the street or at the high school which was a short walk to the orchard. The 1 mile walkers did not recieve bibs and they started 30 minutes before the 5K. The 1 milers recieved a t-shirt and those completing the 5K were also given a medal. There were prizes after the 5K for the top overall female and male finishers. As well as top female and male in 10 year age groups. They also had random bib draw winners​.​ There was no offical announcement made for the 1 mile and everyone just seemed to go. I did the 1 mile walk with my boys. Despite all the cold rain and mud we had fun. The boys enjoyed warm homemade strawberry donuts and slushies from Bauman Orchards. And of course, I enjoyed a midnight rain energy drink from Ott’s Coffee
