I completed the Tree Farm 5k in Magnolia this morning with fellow Team-ER member Felicia Neal! This race is very low key, but has crazy hills and definitely hotter weather with a starting time almost at 10am! There wasn’t an award ceremony and only the top two male and female finishers were given a small wooden plaque when they finished the race. Everyone just left when they finished. I wanted to complete this one because it was a DNF for me two years ago when I left after a mile because of an emergency. I finished today with a total time of 37:44 and actually finished 3rd female overall. So sad there wasn’t awards for at least the top three, but at least this race is finished!

2nd race of the day was the Tree Farm 5k with my fellow ER teammate Nancy Wardell and some of my lovely running friends. It was a lovely race through Pine Crest Tree Farm in Magnolia. I finished in 14th place. think.
