Race Recap By Nancy Wardell:
I ran the Stink Stank Stunk 5K tonight in Bolivar Ohio with teammates Felicia Neal and Lori Fritz! This race is always very well organized and I loved all the free goodies and shirt! It’s an out and back race that’s mostly on a running path and through a small neighborhood with very little elevation! I finished with a time of 24:45 and pace of 7:58 and wind first in my age group! I’m very thankful and hope to try it again next year! Congratulations Lori and Felicia!
Race Recap By Felicia Neal:
Tonight was event #35 and I ran Stink Stank Stunk 5k in Bolivar. This race is very well organized and a lot of fun! I did it last year and I think this will be a race I will run every year. Beer and cheer for Christmas In July! I got 4th in my age group, it is very different racing in the evening compared to morning. Regardless I had a great time with my lovely friends.
Race Recap By Lori Fritz:
It’s always great hanging out with running friends! Ran Stink Stank Stink this evening. This is a very flat and fast course. Since the starting line is a mile from my house, I ran to it as a warm up. No need to worry about where to park!!
The course is well marked, and with only a couple of turns, very easy to navigate. I normally don’t do well on evening races, but I did beat my time from last year by 3 seconds and was awarded first in my age group!
Along with some great swag, they had some raffle items, and everyone enjoyed the complimentary beer or homemade root beer from Lockport Brewery.
I then ran back home, and made it just before dark.
