Will run for Snow Cones!
Choose your distance 5 or 10 miles thru mostly single track, rolling hills and some fairly technical roots.
Super humid August in Ohio – we were glad for the shade and wishing for some rain!
I felt really good today and was super happy with my 1st place AG!
Congrats to all of my Team ER Teammates running today and excited to welcome mascot Otis for his debut run!

Race #42 was the Down and Dirty 10 miler with Team ER Lynett McClay Terri Bednar Josh Keane Lisa Keane and my new pupper Otis! The day was super humid, hot and fun! Western Reserve does a wonderful job organizing wonderful races. The first 5 miles where fast since I was Otis’s sled. Unfortunately the 2nd loop he lost his fast pace so we hiked it. We where DFL but they surprised Otis with a medal! I got 6th in my age group but it was a wonderful experience for my furbaby!

The day started out very humid for an early run. You had an option of doing the 5 miles or 10 miles. Due to parking the 5 milers got to start at 8am for a 2 hour cut off and the 10 milers started at 10am with a 4 hour cutoff. This course consists of single track, lots of roots and rolling hills. Aid station in the middle with just water and hydration another aide station at the end with plenty of snacks . Top 3 age group winners. Runners received a soft tee and wooden medal. I really enjoyed this race. I got 3rd in my age group. Congratulations to all of team ER on their finish!
