Race Recap By Lisa Keane:
St. Anthony’s Triathlon 2026 was a destination Tri for this Ohio girl.
Good communication & organized race includes an expo w/ vendors and giveaways and even an option to rent a bike!
Well marked, scenic course.
Tons of volunteers & kayaks / police for safety.
Nice swag & after party.
Overall and age group awards.
1st time swimming in the ocean for an event and it was very choppy and super tough. There were 3 rescues around me so the jet skis added to the wakes! Florida roads were flat and fast for the bike / run.
Race Recap By Felicia Neal:
Sunday I completed St Anthony’s Triathlon in St Petersburg, Florida. This was my first sprint triathlon! It was very challenging and HOT. Swimming in the ocean was no joke! I swallowed too much saltwater and it was very challenging navigating the water with hundreds of athletes. The race itself was very well organized with many helpful volunteers. I was so thankful to be competing with Lisa Keane and having our husbands as our cheerleaders and partners in crime. We stayed at a AIRBNB in Tierra Verde right on the ocean, ate way to much food and enjoyed the beach!
