Today I ran Treat Trot 15k, event #34 for the year, and it did not start off well. I am going to be polite. The race should have started at 7a, however when I arrived early for packet pickup it was prosponed because they where still waiting on the bibs to arrive. That’s kinda important, so the race was delaid and started at 720a. I am up in the suburbs of Chicago and I was annoyed because I had things planned with my mom and it pushed everything back. Once the bibs arrived they forgot pins, so runners had to hold their bibs. The RD was very overwelmed, regardless the race went on. At least the weather was beautiful. It was a loop course and I had to complete 3 loops for 15k. I got 1st Masters Female. Would I do it again? No
