I ran the Kylie Rose’s Final 5K this evening in Copley, Ohio and had an absolutely amazing experience! This event has always been very well organized from packet pickup all the away to the finish line and awards, but this year had a lot of extra love and care that was evident during the whole event. It was great to see so many of my friends there including Mike Williams and Mickey Rzymek! I had my hands full with a 3-year old running around my ankles, but we both made it to the finish lines! I hit a new PR finishing at a total time of 23:02 giving me a pace of 7:25, which gave me first in my age group!! I’ve never placed at this event so I was beyond excited and soooo thankful. Such a beautiful plaque and I’ve always loved this race for its purpose! Waylon did fantastic with his one mile race and finished at 13:09…the bubbles had the kid very distracted.
