I ran the Dover Knights of Columbus 2025 Ghost Chase 5k in Dover this morning with teammate Kelli Tomblin! It was a beautiful morning for a race and this is one of my regular races every year where I reconnect with a lot of my racing friends! This race is very very well organized and takes you around Dover including two different cemeteries! I also really enjoy the inside award ceremony with tons of fruits, granola bars, and subway sandwiches to munch on while they give out the awards! I ended with a time of 29:36 and pace of 9:32 finishing 1st in my age group!! Definitely improving my time at this race, so I’m very pleased with that too! I definitely recommend this race if you’re looking for one this time of year in this area!

The Dover Knights  of Columbus Ghost Chase did not disappoint. This was my 3rd or 4th yr doing this race. They do such a great job organizing it . Matt Ritzert is a great race director! Perfect on signs and having people direct you through the roads as well. White arrows on the road. Police around also helping you. Very nice quality long sleeve shirts. Always good detailed finisher medals .Plenty of subway sandwiches, fruit, granola bars, candy & water. They don’t run out. Always prepared! Some dress up for fun and some don’t. Great race overall!
