Ran this inaugural race yesterday morning. SECOND SOLE MADE IN AMERICA
Very windy, temps in the low 40’s. A flat course after mile 3, mostly on the towpaths either side of the Tusc. River. Race went well – 1:27:41. 10th overall, and 1st Masters over 50. I struggled from the 8 mile point on – with the wind no longer in my face, I hoped to have negative split, but was unable to pull that off (and had 2 friends pass me in the process!).
