It was a cold but yet a beautiful day to run a race in Hinckley Cleveland metro parks. Packet pick up was easy with simple directions. You can pick your packet up the day before or day of. Plenty of parking at the start but also parking near by if parking lot got full with a shuttle bus. This race consists of single track with plenty of roots, sticks, trees to climb over ( there probably around 20 down over the path from the wind storm the night before) mud, and hills and road. There was also a very technical areas including steps and rocks to climb. There were 3 aid stations, 1 with all the snacks a runner could want and 1 water station at the 1/2 way point and the aid stations at the start finish. The course was well marked. The start was gun start no chip timing. Runners received a soft tee and license plate cover at the finish. I did enjoy this race and would like to do it again. I was 14th out of 20 females and would have gotten 3rd in my age group but they only did top 3 over all male and female. The money raised for this race goes to Brooklyn Exchange Club . Their mission is to end child abuse and neglect.
